Sordillo led the Springfield defense to one of its most dominant seasons in program history. Individually, he registered 11.5 sacks, 14.0 tackles for a loss and 56 total tackles, while as a team Springfield ranked among the best in Division III allowing just 13.3 points per game, 216.3 total yards per game and 71.3 rushing yards per game.
