The Pride hit a season high errorless .636 in the second set to get the quick 25-10 victory. Springfield had went on multiple spurts of three consecutive points at the beginning of the set to take a quick 11-3 lead before scoring six unanswered points to put the Chargers way out of reach, 17-4. After a Colby-Sawyer point, a kill from Saelua helped Springfield gain more momentum as the Pride pushed to 21-5. Avery Chandler (Stoneville, N.C.) and Caroline Burg (Vernon, Conn.) led off the set with a kill and an ace, respectively, before Springfield went on a 9-2 run that was capped off by a kill from Daubon. Springfield continued to dominante, adding more and not letting the Chargers get back in the game as three kills from Maya Lequire (Old Lyme, Conn.), Saelua and Colosimo ended the set 25-11.
