Maurua Tumelty joins the Springfield College field hockey program as a graduate assistant for the 2024-25 campaign. A native of Cinnaminson, N.J., Tumelty is working on her Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology.Â
As a student-athlete at Cabrini University, Tumelty was a standout on the field hockey program during a special run for the team, winning back-to-back Atlantic East Conference Championships in 2021 and 2022, where Tumelty was named as an AEC Championship Game MVP in ‘22 and to the AEC First-Team twice. She earned her degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion. Â
