Springfield College

Mike Matera will enter his first season with the Springfield College men's soccer team during the 2018-19 academic year. As a graduate assistant coach, Matera will also be working on a Master's degree in Physical Education while on Alden Street.

Matera, a native of Trumbull, Conn. graduated from Siena with a degree in Psychology in 2014. Matera recently came from The College of Saint Rose, where he helped lead his team to their most wins in school history. He also created his own soccer training business called Beestera Soccer Training and also helped lead Reading United to the Elite 8 of the PDL National Tournament.
