After leading the Springfield College men's soccer team to a NEWMAC Championship and trip to the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament in his inaugural campaign, Tommy Crabill will enter his eighth season as the head men's soccer coach and associate professor of physical education at Springfield College in the fall of 2025.

Following the 2018 season, Crabill helped four student-athletes earn both All-Region and All-Conference accolades, while senior Brad Deckel earned Academic All-America honors for the second-consecutive year. Throughout his time at the helm of the program, Crabill has had 16 NEWMAC All-Conference honorees, ten CoSIDA/CSC Academic All-District honorees, seven United Soccer Coaches All-Region honorees, and a CoSIDA Academic All-American.

Prior to his arrival on Alden Street, Crabill, who is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University, spent the three seasons at Williams College, where he served as the recruiting coordinator and assistant coach for the Ephs. Before Williams, Crabill was the first assistant at St. Lawrence University, and was a part of a coaching staff that helped the Saints capture the Liberty League regular season and conference tournament and earn a pair of automatic berths to the NCAA Division III Championship.  Consistently nationally ranked during his time at St. Lawrence, the Saints advanced to the Sweet Sixteen in 2013 and the second round of the national tournament in 2014.

Crabill comes to Alden Street with National Diploma from the NSCAA to go along with a wealth of coaching and playing experience. In 2012, Crabill worked at Earlham College in Indiana, after spending two years assisting both the men’s and women’s squads at Baldwin Wallace University in Ohio, where he helped the men’s team to its first-ever NCAA Tournament berth and a 16-6-0 finish in 2011.  He also assisted at Alma College in Michigan in 2009.

Crabill, was a four-year member of the men’s soccer team at Ohio Wesleyan, where he earned Bachelor degrees in physical education and sport management.  During his time with the Battling Bishops, Crabill helped the squad win four NCAC regular season championships, three NCAC tournament championships, and make four trips to the NCAA Tournament, including the Final Four in 2006.
