Selinsgrove, Pa. – May 18, 2023 – Four sprinters from the Springfield College men's track and field team wrapped up their week at the AARTFC Championships hosted by Susquehanna University this afternoon.
After qualifying for the championship final of the 100-meter dash yesterday, sophomore Evan Weber (Purchase, N.Y.) finished sixth overall with a time of 10.78-seconds.
Junior Seth Regan (Killingworth, Conn.), sophomore Michael Scott (Shoreview, Minn.) and junior Anik Dole (Dubai, UAE) all competed in the 200-meter dash this afternoon as well. Regan paced the trio with a time of 22.17-seconds that placed him tenth overall, while Scott placed 17th in 22.29-seconds and Dole finished 34th in 23.10-seconds.
Springfield will now await official word of selections to the 2023 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships as the 4x100 relay squad of Weber, Scott, Regan and Anthony Penta (Southington, Conn.) currently rank fourth in the country on the men's side, while Matlyn Gross (Altamont, N.Y.) currently ranks 16th in the long jump for the women's squad.
Selections are set to be released tomorrow on NCAA.com.
