Men's and Women's Track and Field Release 2026 Indoor Schedule with Opener Slated for December 6 at Home

Springfield, Mass. - December 1, 2025 - The Springfield College men's and women's track and field teams alongside head coach Mike Miller are releasing the 2026 indoor track and field schedule with the opener slated for December 6.

MEN'S SCHEDULE
WOMEN'S SCHEDULE

Springfield will compete in eight different meets prior to the New England Division III Championships, AARTFC Indoor Championships, and a last chance meet in hopes to travel to Birmingham, Alabama for the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships. The schedule includes three home meets along with some of the top away meets in the region. A season ago, both programs saw records fall as the Pride sent three student-athletes to the 2024 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships with now junior Katherine DeFosse (Worcester, Mass.) earning All-America honors after finishing seventh overall in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.90.

The Pride opens up their season at home with the Springfield College Season Opener on December 6 for their only meet of the month.

In its first meet of the new year, Springfield will travel to Tufts for the Branwen Smith-King Invitational on January 17 before hosting the Massasoit Classic on the 24th. The Pride will close out the month at Boston University for the John Thomas Terrier Classic from January 30-31.

On February 7, the teams will head to Wheaton (Mass.) for the Wheaton Invitational and then travel up to Boston University again for the David Hemery Valentine Invitational from February 13-14. Some student-athletes will also be competing in the Jumbo Invitational at Tufts on the 14th.

The Pride will then host the Massasoit Classic from February 20-21 before competing in the New England Division III Championships from February 27-March 1. The AARTFC Indoor Championships will take place on March 6-7 prior to the Tufts Last Chance Meet on the 8th as a final effort to qualify for the 2026 NCAA Division III Track and Field Championships which will begin on March 13.
