Springfield, Mass. – January 16, 2024 – Springfield College women's gymnastics graduate student Sophia LeBlanc (Waltham, Mass.) has been named as the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) East All-Around Gymnast of the Week.

LeBlanc, who guided the Pride to a second-place finish at the Ursinus Quad Meet on Sunday, was impressive in her Springfield College debut as the graduate student totaled a 38.275 to finish in first in the all-around. Individually, LeBlanc finished first on the floor exercise, second on the uneven bars and third on the balance beam.

LeBlanc produced scores of 9.75 on the floor exercise, 9.675 on the balance beam, 9.60 on the uneven bars and 9.25 on the vault.

Springfield College will travel to Rhode Island College for a quad meet with Cortland and Utica on Saturday, January 20 at 12:00 pm.
