Tickets On Sale For Saturday's NCAA Football Second Round Game Against UMass Dartmouth

Springfield, Mass. – November 25, 2024 - After winning its fourth straight New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championship, the nationally-ranked Springfield College football team and Stagg Field will play host to the second round of the 2024 NCAA Division lll Football Championship Tournament. The Pride will face UMass Dartmouth on Saturday, November, 30th at 12:00 pm. The winner of Saturday's game will play either Cortland or Endicott next weekend.

Fans can purchase tickets digitally before arriving at Stagg Field online on Springfield's ticketing website or purchase them at the gate with cash.  The first 200 Springfield College students are free of charge, and for those who purchase online, fill our your student ID in the passcode section to access your ticket. 

Springfield College and the NCAA encourage fans to purchase their mobile tickets in advance of the event to streamline the entry process on game day. Spectators may purchase their mobile tickets online on site but a cash option will be available at the gate. General admission tickets will cost $10 for anyone attending who is over the age of 12. Students (ages 3 through college) and senior citizens tickets are $5 and children under the age of two will receive free admission.  Tickets will be accepted at Stagg Field 90 minutes prior to kick-off on Saturday afternoon in Springfield.

In addition to game tickets, fans can also purchase parking passes in both the home tailgate lot (lot 10) and the visitors tailgate lot (lot 8). Lots open three hours prior to kickoff (9:00 am) and are sold on a first come first serve basis for $20 here: Springfield's ticketing website.The second round of NCAA Championship weekend features 32 Division lll teams competing for a spot in this year's Stagg Bowl, the Division III national title game, which will be held on January 5, 2025 at Shell Energy Stadium in Houston, Texas.

Saturday's matchup pits a pair of undefeated teams as both squads enter the national tournament with 10-0 records.  UMass Dartmouth has won the last three MASCAC Championships and received a bye in the opening round of the tournament, as did Springfield, which enters the game ranked 20th in the AFCA Division III National Coaches Poll and 23rd in the D3football.com Poll.  These teams have previously played four times, but not since 2015 and never in postseason play.  Springfield will be making its 10th appearance in the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament and fourth-straight trip as it is hosting a second round game on Stagg Field for the first time since 2006.
