Orlando, Fla. - March 14, 2024 - The Springfield College women's tennis team wrapped up its trip to Florida with a 9-0 setback to Ithaca on Thursday.
In singles,
Kelly McGoldrick (Monroe, N.Y.) was clipped by a 4-6, 6-4, 10-4 decision at the No. 6 spot, while in doubles play, the team of
Veronica Fulgieri (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) and
Kate Rosselli (Trumbull, Conn.) were up 6-5 in the No. 3 spot before an injury forced them to retire.
Springfield returns to Massachusetts and begins NEWMAC play on March 23 at home versus Mount Holyoke.
