Orlando, Fla. - March 14, 2024 - The Springfield College men's tennis team was defeated by Ithaca, 7-2, in its final match of its Spring Break trip in Florida this week.

In doubles play, the Pride's top performance came at the No. 3 spot as Micah Matsudaira (Cornwall, Conn.) and Waseem Sablon (Stoughton, Mass.) were edged by an 8-6 decision.

Springfield earned a pair of points in singles action as Zach Taub (New Windsor, N.Y.) delivered a 6-4, 6-4, triumph at No. 6, while Ethan Gomulka (San Bernardino, Calif.) grinded out a 5-7, 6-4, 10-6 victory at No. 5

Springfield will play next on Thursday when it hosts Roger Williams.
