Collegeville, Pa. - March 23, 2024 - Five members of the Springfield College women's gymnastics team competed in the 2024 National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) National Championships at Ursinus.
Sophia LeBlanc (Waltham, Mass.) finished as the national runner-up in the all-around competition after earning a 38.745. LeBlanc registered a 9.800 on the floor exercise, scored a 9.650 on the beam, produced a 9.550 on the uneven bars, and turned in a 9.475 on the vault en route to NCGA All-America honors.
Annie Kiley (Taneytown, Md.) also landed on the podium as she
finished in a tie for seventh on the vault as she hit for a 9.725 to collect NCGA All-America honors for the second-straight year. Additionally,
Julia Reer (Cedar Grove, N.J.) posted a 9.675 on the floor,
Ayako Maeda (Yokohama, Japan) was credited with a 9.550 on the uneven bars, and
Kelly McGuinness (Groton, Mass.) tallied a
8.975 on the balance beam.
