Virginia Beach, Va. - March 8, 2024 - Competing on the national stage as an individual for the first time, Springfield College's Evan Weber (Purchase, N.Y.) raced in the 200 meter dash at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships on Friday in the Virginia Beach Sports Center.

After previously competing twice at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships as part of the Pride's 4x100 relay, Weber entered the competition seeded 14th among the 20 student-athletes in the race. Appearing in the fourth heat, the Movement and Sports Studies major turned in a time of 21.74 to finish 11th in the competition.  For his efforts, Weber was named a USTFCCCA Second-Team All-America honoree.
