Springfield, Mass. - April 22, 2024 - The Springfield College football program will be once again holding the Wally Case '85 Old Shoe Golf Classic at Shaker Farms Country Club on June 1, where alumni will have a chance to reconnect with old teammates, along with current coaches and student-athletes on the football team.
Registration will take place at the course at 12:00 pm, with an anticipated tee-off time of 1:00 pm. The entry fee into the Old Shoe Golf Classic is $125, which includes 18 holes of golf at a premiere golf course in Western Massachusetts, access to practice facilities and a cart. Attendees will also be able to enjoy a barbecue meal following the event. Sponsorship opportunities also exist, with it costing $50 to sponsor a hole.
For those who cannot attend the golf tournament but would like to support the Springfield College football program, you may do so here. Your donation to the Old Shoe Fund will be used to support the highest priority for the football team, as identified by the coach and director of athletics. Twenty percent of each gift will be designated as general athletics support.
