Springfield, Mass. - January 28, 2025 - Springfield College's student-athletes delivered another strong semester in the classroom to open the 2025-26 academic year.
The Pride's 674 total student-athletes earned a 3.531 grade point average this semester. In total 574 of Springfield's 674 student-athletes – 85.1-percent – achieved a 3.00 grade point average this fall, 134 posted between a 3.00 and a 3.49, 315 posted between a 3.50 and a 3.99 and 125 posted a perfect 4.00.
This fall, ten different Springfield College programs had a semester GPA above a 3.70 including men's tennis, men's cross country, field hockey, women's gymnastics, women's swimming and diving, women's tennis, women's lacrosse, women's cross country, softball, women's track and field.
The men's tennis team had the top GPA among men's programs with an impressive mark of 3.942, while on the women's side, the women's cross country team earned a 3.872 team grade point average to lead all women's programs on campus.
