Smith buried seven of 14 shots from behind the arc over the opening 20 minutes of play and ballooned its lead to 24 points, 41-17, at halftime.

Springfield scored the first five points of the fourth on a three point play from Angie Czeremcha (West Springfield, Mass.) and layup from Leary, but Smith outscored the Pride, 13-2, over the final eight minutes of the contest to account for the 71-36 final.
