Springfield, Mass. – March 1, 2025 – The Springfield College women's lacrosse team picked up its third straight win on Saturday as the Pride rolled past Endicott College, 13-8, on Stagg Field.

Springfield improved to 3-0, while Endicott evened its record at 1-1.

With three total points (two goals and one assist), Roy surpassed 100 points for her collegiate career. Defensively, Kyana Alvarado (Westfield, Mass.) registered four ground balls and two caused turnovers. In net, Kate Laico (East Meadow, N.Y.) made 12 saves for Springfield as she picked up her third win between the pipes for Springfield.

As a team, Springfield went 8-for-9 on free position shots the most free position goals the Pride have had since April 7, 2018 at Coast Guard. Springfield also went 17-for-20 on the clear and won 15-of-26 draw controls, while Endicott held statistical edges in shots (28-24) and ground balls (17-15).

Johnson opened the scoring with a strike from Lilly Vey (Foxboro, Mass.) just 2:44 into the game before an unassisted goal from Andresen on the man-advantage doubled Springfield's lead to two early on. Both teams traded goals over the remaining 6:36 of the first as the Pride held a 4-3 edge after 15 minutes of play.

Springfield then went on to outscore Endicott, 5-0, in the second thanks to unassisted goals from Johnson, Roy, Sarah Newton (Colchester, Conn.) and Vey before Molly Forrest (Wakefield, Mass.) finished a pass from Roy to make it a 9-3 game at halftime.

Neri made it a 10-3 advantage for Springfield early in the third before Endicott got a pair back including one on the man-advantage. Neri gave Springfield its largest lead of the game at eight (13-5) before Endicott scored the final three goals of the game to account for the 13-8 final on Saturday.
