Kaden Quirk (Nahant, Mass.) was selected as a Division III Scholar All-American by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA).
Quirk is only the 11th Division III Scholar All-American in program history joining Malcolm Lester '89, Dylan Sheehan '15, Jake Reynolds '18, Cameron Glover '19, Joe Hawley '20, Kyle Murakami '20, Zac Schuette '22,
Connor Roberts '22,
Mason Nocito '24 and
Jackson Lane '24 as ones to have earned the national academic accolade. A USILA Scholar All-American must be nominated by his coach, be a student with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (4.0 scale), and must also be an All-American, a member of a North/South team, or an outstanding league or conference player. Quirk was also just one of three student-athletes from the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) to be selected for this honor and one of 139 from across Division III to be recognized in 2025.
Quirk, who graduated with a degree in integrative studies to go along with a grade point average of 3.71, had impressive senior campaign between the pipes for the Pride. Quirk played nearly 990 minutes in net, made 169 saves and sported a record of 10-7 leading Springfield back to the NEWMAC Championship game on Stagg Field.
Quirk's goals against average and save total ranked third in the NEWMAC and at the conclusion of the 2025 season, was recognized on the NEWMAC All-Conference Second Team. As a team, Springfield claimed its first NEWMAC regular season title since 2016 this past spring after going an undefeated 7-0 in league play with one of the toughest schedules in Division III in 2025.
