Springfield, Mass. – July 16, 2025 - Six Springfield College student-athletes were named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team this year.
The 2025 Academic All-District® At-Large Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in their sport and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. In order to be eligible, a student-athlete must have a grade point average of 3.50 or higher and compete in a specified number of team matches over the course of the calendar year.|
Women's lacrosse graduate student
Hannah Hibbert (Center Harbor, N.H.) was the lone repeat selection of the six student-athletes this spring and was joined this year by teammates
Abby Taylor (Cumberland Foreside, Maine),
Maddie Roy (Wilbraham, Mass.) and
Kyana Alvarado (Westfield, Mass.) As well as women's gymnastics senior
Maya Belog (Sturbridge, Mass.) and field hockey junior
Nicolette Morlock (Rexford, N.Y.).
Hibbert, a physical therapy major with a 3.76 grade point average, led Springfield with 22 caused turnovers and ranked third in both draw controls with 40 and ground balls with 25 as she played in 17 games for the Pride this spring rounding out the All-NEWMAC First Team selections for Springfield in 2025.
Taylor, a sports biology major with a 3.76 grade point average, who started in all 18 games as a senior, registered eight goals to go along with 14 ground balls, 12 caused turnovers and five draw controls.
Roy, a physician assistant studies major with a 3.54 grade point average, registered 18 goals and seven assists for 25 points in 18 contests this spring. The graduate student also posted 19 ground balls, caused eight turnovers and was dominant on the draw with 53 draw controls, the second most on the team.
Alvarado, a school counseling major with a 4.00 grade point average, led Springfield with 32 ground balls and ranked second with 16 caused turnovers as a staple of the Pride's defensive unit as she started and played in 17 contests in her fifth season with the program.
Belog, a psychology major with a 3.85 grade point average, capped her collegiate career at the 2025 National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) National Championship and competed among 48 student-athletes from across the country on the balance beam recording a score of 9.225 for 41st place in her first individual national championship appearance of her career.
Morlock, a physical therapy major with a 3.75 grade point average, had a breakout season as one of the best offensive and defensive players in the league. Offensively, Morlock registered five goals and four assists for 14 points. Her five goals and 14 points ranked second most on the team, while her four assists tied for most this fall for Springfield. Morlock also went a perfect 4-for-4 on penalty strokes in 2024.
