The Pride dropped the opening set as Haverford came out strong and capitalized on multiple Springfield errors.
In the second set,

With their backs against the wall, the Pride dug deep and had multiple student-athletes come up with timely points. Late kills from Keaveney and
Avery Chandler (Stoneville, NC) helped Springfield win 26-24 and force a fifth set.
After being down 6-10 in the final set, Springfield went on a 5-1 run to tie up the set at 11 with four of those points coming from Keaveney. After Haverford took the lead again, the Pride took a time out. Out of the timeout, a big swing from
Ahunna James (Plainville, Mass.) tied up the set at 13, but Haverford managed to come out with the win, 15-13.
