Keene, N.H. – October 3, 2026 – The Springfield women's cross country team competed at the 2026 Keene State College Invitational, recording several personal bests in a field of 34 other schools.
Emily Hye (Balston Spa, N.Y.) led the team in the highly competitive championship 6k, finishing in 91st place with a personal-best time of 24:32.4.
Ava Ciccone (Cheshire, Conn.) followed in 107th, also recording a personal-best time of 24:44.3.
Kayleigh Jensen (Salem, Conn.) finished in 24:49.9, and
Sara St. Germain (Somers, Conn.) became the fourth runner to break 25 minutes, crossing the line at 24:54.0.
Elisa Narain (Holden, Mass.) was next to finish at 25:31.1, followed by
Alexandra Henrichon (Huntington, Mass.) at 26:22.2.
Shelby Tart (Pittsfield, Mass.) finished with a time of 26:30.6, and
Lauren Roche (Corning, N.Y.) rounded out the pack with a time of 27:04.2.
The Pride will head to Westfield for the James Earley Invitational on Saturday, October 10.
