Levinson led the charge in the first with four kills and hit .500 (4-1-6) and Durivage hit .600 (3-0-5) for the Pride offense. Early kills from Goh, Cutter and Levinson made the score 7-2 and forced an early timeout from Hobart. The Statesmen were able to pull within three but a kill from Levinson and two aces from Eber Jr. made it 15-8. Hobart put together a brief run of points to pull within four late in the set, but Eber Jr. stepped to the service line and terminated the first with three straight aces, 25-17.
Hobart jumped out to a 10-6 lead in the second following a pair of kills from Harry Fromberg and a swing by Kian KIschke. Three errors by the Statesmen eventually allowed Springfield to tie the score at 17. A kill from Cutter and back-to-back assisted blocks that included Cutter at the net put Springfield ahead 21-19 and forced Hobart to call a timeout. The two sides traded points with extra points being needed. Hobart had set point at 27-26 after kills from Noah DeLong and Aiden Kemora, but a swing by Cutter tied the score at 27. Goh swung from the back row to give the Pride set point and Levinson stepped to the line and registered an ace to win the set, 29-27.
The Pride tallied the first four points of the third before trading points with the Statesmen pushing the sore to 13-11 midway through the stanza. A service error and a solo block by Cutter ignited a run of six straight points for Springfield that put the match out of reach for Hobart. The run followed with three aces from Levinson and a block in the middle by Cutter and Goh. Then leading 19-13, Springfield notched six of the final seven points of the set to secure the sweep. An ace by Goh, solo blocks by
