Orlando, Fla. - March 18, 2026 - The Springfield College men's tennis team fell to Hobart in an afternoon matchup at the Sanlando Tennis Center, 6-1. 

Springfield moves to 4-4 overall and will face No. 34 Hamilton tomorrow at 3:00 pm. 

Hobart swept doubles, but Austin Prendiville (City Beach, Australia) and Marc Villanueva Abad (Barcelona, Mexico) put up a fight at No. 2 doubles losing to Achilleas Kousaridis and Everett Reid 7-6. 

The Statesmen won all but one singles match as Prendiville produced the only point for the Pride after getting the win against Achilleas Kousaridis at No. 2 singles by scores of 6-4, 6-4.
