Marlborough, Mass. - March 6, 2026 - Springfield College women's basketball standouts Natalie Lucas (Madison, Conn.) and Amanda Leary (Westbury, N.Y.) were named to 2025-26 New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) All-Conference teams.

Lucas was named to the All-Conference First Team for the first time in her career as Leary was named to the All-Conference Second Team for the second straight season as both student-athletes were the top two leaders in both points and rebounds for Springfield. 

At the end of the season, Lucas averaged a team-high 12.2 points per game and a second-best 5.7 rebounds per game while also adding 26 steals and 16 blocks. She also recorded four 20-point games and two double-doubles over the course of the season. In conference play, Lucas shot a league-best .475 field goal percentage, had the third highest free throw percentage (.885) and was eighth in points per game (13.4). 

Leary averaged a team-high 7.2 rebounds per game and a second-best 11.5 points per game while tallying a team-high 50 steals and adding 12 blocks. Leary averaged 7.2 rebounds per game in conference play which was ninth in the NEWMAC. She also registered four double-doubles and three 20-points games including a 25-point performance with 14 rebounds to lead the Pride to a win over Colby as she was named the Naismith Classic Tournament Most Valuable Player.
