New Britain, Conn. – November 1, 2008 – The Springfield College women’s swimming and diving team fell at Central Connecticut State on Saturday afternoon by a score of 174-124, and was edged by Southern Connecticut State, 154-144. The lone individual win in the meet came on the three-meter board as Michelle Reggio won with a score of 238.50.

Kallie Pottle finished second in the 100 back (1:03.23) and the 200 back (2:14.11). Moira Price also finished second in the 50 free with a time of 25.35. The 200 medley relay team of Megan Cooney, Caroline Kosciusko, Brianne Lemoine, and Jaclyn Van Waalwijk touched second with a time of 1:58.03.

Springfield returns to action on Saturday afternoon when it travels to take on local-foe Smith.
