Worcester, Mass. — April 7, 2010 — Tim Tunis defeated Harris Rollinger at No. 2 singles to lead his Springfield College men’s tennis team to an 8-1 victory over Clark University in a New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference match earlier this afternoon. Tunis also combined with Trevor Romanzi at No. 1 doubles to win that match, allowing SC to sweep the doubles action.
The win raised Springfield’s record to 3-8 overall, and to 1-2 in NEWMAC play. Clark is now 2-4 overall, 0-2 NEWMAC.
