Midway through the first half, the Pride got on the scoreboard. Jenelle Jahoda threw the ball in to freshman Kelly Ziogas, who delieverd a long pass to Moscardelli right in front of the Clark net. Moscardelli corralled the ball in stride and fired a shot past Clark goalie Audrey Eisemann for the gameÂ's first goal in the 20th minute.

Less than two minutes into the second half, Springfield extended its lead. Moscardelli led a break in transition and found Katie Mantie up ahead. Mantie took two dribbles and gently lifted a shot over the outstretched reach of Eisemann for the PrideÂ's second goal and a 2-0 lead.

The Pride attack continued to keep pushing and struck again in the 59th minute as Courtney Letourneau and Erica Donnelly connected on some great teamwork to give Springfield a 3-0 advanatge. After Letourneau dropped a pass to Donnelly, Donnelly immediately back-heeled a pass in return, which Letourneau collected and fired from thirty yards out for the score.
