Worcester, Mass. – April 14, 2013 – The Springfield College men’s tennis team fell to host Clark University, 8-1, in a New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) showdown on Sunday.

Springfield is now 7-7, and 0-4 in conference action, while Clark, now 10-6 overall and 3-1 in league play.

The Pride’s lone point in the afternoon came from the No. 1 doubles spot, with Ben Burnap and Joe Giannelli producing a 9-8 win.

On Monday, the Pride will play host to American International in a non-conference contest.
