Babson Park, Mass. – September 7, 2013 – The Springfield College women’s tennis team suffered a 9-0 setback at Babson College on Saturday afternoon in New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) action.

Ariana Shemms (Goshen, Conn.) had a strong showing at No. 4 singles, falling 6-3, 6-1, while the No. 3 doubles team of Sydney Streimer (Mystic, Conn.) and Alanna Grady (Springfield, Mass.) dropped an 8-2 decision.

Springfield will hit the courts again on Wednesday when it travels to take on Nichols.
