Springfield, Mass. - September 28, 2015 - The Springfield College men's tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision to visting Endicott College on Monday afternoon on Appleton Courts.

With the win, the Gulls even their record to 1-1, while the Pride drops to 0-2 as it wrapped up the fall portion of its schedule.

Springfield trailed 2-1 after doubles despite three close battles.  Springfield's No. 2 doubles team of Kyle Beynor (Prospect, Conn.) and Court Honda (Marioka, Japan) earned an 8-6 win at No. 2.  In singles play, Nate Weissman (Longmeadow, Mass.) was Springfield's lone winner as he posted a 6-2, 4-6, 10-5 victory at the No. 6 spot.

Springfield will compete again on March 22 when it heads to Rhode Island College.
