Box Score Springfield, Mass. – October 5, 2025 – The Springfield College women's tennis hosted its annual fall invitational welcoming Emerson College and Connecticut College to Alden Street on Saturday afternoon.
In the doubles portion of the invitational,
Erica Jud (Glen Head, N.Y.) and
Grace Tyler (Longmeadow, Mass.) won the "B" draw. The duo started their day with a 6-3 win over Sana Bhat and Sydney Concepcion of Connecticut College before topping
Peyton Gaudreau (Branford, Conn.) and
Ava Shea (Belchertown, Mass.) in the winner's bracket game. Jud and Tyler ended their day with a 3-0 record.
Natalia Peyon (Discovery Bay, Hong Kong) and
Alysa Elliott (Gros-Islet, Saint Lucia) picked up a 6-4 decision over Teagan Skulley and Marylove Reynolds of Connecticut College in the back draw of the "A" bracket.
Gaudreau was dominant in the "A" singles draw blanking both Goods and Mary Ella Predergast of Connecticut College by 8-0 finals. In the "C" singles draw, Peyon picked up an 8-1 win over Anna Matsuura of Emerson, in the "E" singles draw, Tyler earned an 8-0 win over Jayden Beverly of Emerson before falling in the final to Concepcion, 8-6.
Anya Koshy (Goffstown, N.H.) earned her first collegiate victory with an 8-5 decision over Gianna Di-Reumante of Emerson before falling in the "F" singles draw final to Taylor Mastrogiovanni of Connecticut College, 8-4.
Catie Seklecki (Southwick, Mass.) rounded out the highlights for the Pride claiming the title in the "G" singles draw with a pair of wins over Sidra Sudberg of Emerson first winning 8-7 (6) and then winning 8-4.
Springfield will wrap up its fall slate at the NEWITT Tournament next weekend.
