Marlborough, Mass. - November 18, 2025 - Two student-athletes from the Springfield College women's volleyball team were named to the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Women's Volleyball All-Conference Second Team following a stellar 2025 season.
Juniors
Tori Colosimo (Fairport, N.Y.) and
Jodi Saelua (Mililani, Hawaii) were both named to the NEWMAC All-Conference Second Team. This is the first time in their collegiate careers they have earned NEWMAC All-Conference nods.
Colosimo started the season off strong, being named the Most Valuable Player and to the All-Tournmanent Team at the Joel B. Dearing '79 Volleyball Classic after the setter recorded over 100 assists, 13 kills, nine digs, and six blocks over three matches. Colosimo continues to show that she is one of the top setters in the NEWMAC as Colosimo is third in assists with 333 in conference games and tied for a league-best 27 service aces. Earlier this season, Colosimo became the ninth student-athlete in Springfield women's volleyball history to eclipse 2,000 career assists.
Saelua has had a breakout junior season, making a name for herself as one of the best middle blockers across the league. She leads the conference in total blocks (104) and is third in hitting percentage (.365) with her team-best 232 kills so far this year. Nationally, Saelua ranks 17th in Division III in hitting percentage and is among the top-50 in total blocks and blocks per set.
Springfield (23-7) earned a bid for the 2025 NCAA Division III Women's Volleyball Championship Tournament and will take on No. 13 nationally-ranked Emory University on Thursday, November 20 at 11:30 at Tufts.
