Rochester, N.Y. – March 14, 2025 – Springfield College sophomore Katherine DeFosse (Worcester, Mass.) made her debut on the national stage at the 2025 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field National Championships on Friday afternoon.

DeFosse raced in the prelims of the 60-meter hurdles and recorded a time of 8.71-seconds to qualify for tomorrow's championship final and to secure a spot on the podium for All-America honors. DeFosse came into the race seeded seventh and her seed held as she was third fastest in her heat and seventh overall in the field of 20 student-athletes from across the country.

DeFosse will race in the championship finals tomorrow at 3:10 pm from Nazareth University.
