Wilbraham, Mass. – April 26, 2025 – The Springfield College golf team wrapped up its 2024-25 season with a runner-up finish at the Western New England University Spring Invitational.

The Pride produced a score of 302 just four strokes behind the host Golden Bears. Eastern Connecticut State University posted a 318 and was followed by Western Connecticut State University with a 323.

On the par 72 course, Amir Ardolino (Wilbraham, Mass.) finished second overall individually with a 72 just one stroke behind the winner from Western New England. David Girouard (Chicopee, Mass.) tied for fourth with a 76, while Matt Kumpulanian (Wilbraham, Mass.), Justin Acquarulo (Branford, Conn.) and Aidan Strebel (Branford, Conn.) all tied for sixth with 77's across the board. Aaron Murakami (South Burlington, Vt.) rounded out his season with an 85 tying him for 22nd in the field.
