Springfield, Mass. - August 14, 2026 - 19 student-athletes from the Springfield College Men's Golf team were recognized on the 2026 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Winter/Spring All-Academic Team for their achievements in the classroom.
Student-athletes competing in championship varsity sports during the Winter and Spring 2025-2026 athletic seasons were eligible for All-Academic recognition after earning a minimum 3.20 cumulative or semester-based grade point average.
Springfield's honorees include Cole Woodland (St. Albans, Vt.), Sean Lengyel (Wilton, Conn.), Ryan Wood (Foxborough, Mass.), PJ Savoie (Milford, Conn.), Amir Ardolino (Wilbraham, Mass.), Jason Coughlin (Bridgewater, Mass.), Derek DePasquale (Silver Spring, Md.), Justin Acquarulo (Branford, Conn.), David Girouard (Chicopee, Mass.), Aaron Murakami (South Burlington, Vt., Niko Consedine (Holyoke, Mass.), Aidan Strebel (Branford, Conn.), Matthew Kumpulanian (Wilbraham, Mass.), Mark Thomas (Townsend, Mass.), Ben Stegina (Northford, Conn.), Tofael Hossain (Springfield, Mass.), Shane DeFilipi (Agawam, Mass.), Nolan Kelly (East Longmeadow, Mass.), and Colin Paradis (Plantsville, Conn.).
The team put forward a strong 2025-26 campaign, highlighted by a runner-up finish at the 2025 MASCAC Championships, led by Girouard, who tied for first overall after shooting a 74 (+2). In addition to Girouard, Wood and Ardolino earned All-MASCAC honors after placing third and eighth, respectively. The Pride also posted a team victory at the Alling Golf Club Spring Invitational, where Springfield carded a season-best score of 303. Individually, Wood and Kumpulanian each recorded a score of 74 to lead the Pride's performance.
