Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Men's Soccer Clipped By Skidmore

Saratoga Springs, N.Y. - September 13, 2025 - The Springfield College men's soccer team fell to Skidmore, 2-1, with less than two minutes to play in this afternoon's non-conference matchup.

Skidmore improves to 2-1-2 overall, while Springfield drops to 3-2.

Skidmore scored three minutes before the end of the first half when Owen Correll took a deep shot that bounced into the goal.

The Pride equalized in the 64th minute when Connor Policarpio (Bristol, Conn.) connected with Parker Gustine (Old Lyme, Conn.) to send a pass into the middle of the box to Thomas Quiterio (Ludlow, Mass.) who shot the ball right past the goalkeeper.

The game looked as if it would end in a draw, but with less than two minutes to play, Skidmore was awarded a free kick at the top of the box that Colin Goodhines buried in the top right corner for the win.

Noah Pote (Washington, Conn.) had nine saves on the day. Skidmore outshot Springfield 21-15, but only had one more corner kick than the Pride.

Springfield is back in action on Tuesday night against Saint Joseph (Conn.) at Brock-Affleck Field.
