Springfield, Mass. - March 14, 2026 - The Springfield College men's gymnastics team finished second in a tri meet with Navy and Temple in Blake Arena on Saturday afternoon as four student-athletes won individual event titles.
Navy won the meet with 314.650 points and was followed by Springfield with 304.950 points and Temple with 280.100 points.
Devon Felsenstein (Blue Bell, Pa.), Blaise Rousseau (Brecksville, Ohio), Evan Reichert (Oswego, Ill.) and Owen Carney (Sterling, Mass.) each took home a win in their respective events this afternoon.
On the floor, Carney came in fourth place with a 3.700 while Jacob Soederqvist (Stockholm, Sweden) finished fifth with a 13.500.
Felsenstein won the pommel horse after scoring a 13.700. Peyton Cramer (Grapevine, Texas) finished third with a 13.150 and Reichert came in fifth with a 12.800.
Rousseau scored a 13.600 to win the still rings while Will Wilson (Montgomery, Ala.) finished fourth with a 12.400 and Gustavin Suess (Portland, Ore.) tied for fifth with a 12.350.
Since the new scoring system was implemented in 2025, Reichert registered the third best score in program history on the vault with a 14.200 to win the event.
Skyler Cook (Copperas Cove, Texas) finished fourth on the parallel bars, scoring a 12.850 as Brian Delf (Delta, British Columbia) came in fifth with a 12.250.
Carney won the high bar with a 13.400 as Kaleb Palacio (Bacliff, Texas) finished fifth with a 12.650.
Springfield heads Colorado Springs, Colo. for the USAG Championships from March 20-21.
