Men's Gymnastics Takes Fourth at USAG Championships

Colorado Springs, Colo. – March 20, 2026 – The Springfield College men's gymnastics team produced a fourth place finish at the 2026 USA Gymnastics Collegiate National Championships on Friday afternoon at the US Air Force Academy with a team score of 310.350.

Army won the meet with a 313.050 and was followed by Greenville with a 311.850, Navy with a 310.750, Springfield with a 310.350, William & Mary with a 308.550, Air Force with a 306.750 and Simpson with a 302.400.

The two-day event kicked off on Friday and featured the team and all-around competition. The top eight scorers on each event, with a maximum of two athletes per program competing on each, will move onto individual apparatus finals on Saturday.

Owen Carney (Sterling, Mass.) finished first on the high bar with a score of 13.350, while Blaise Rousseau (Brecksville, Ohio)recorded a first place finish on the rings with a score of 14.100. The Pride also had three USAG National Runner Ups in Jacob Soederqvist (Stockholm, Sweden) on the floor with a 13.600, Peyton Cramer (Grapevine, Texas) on the pommel horse with a 13.950 and Rousseau on the parallel bars with a 13.700.

Moving on to tomorrow's individual finals are Soederqvist (floor), Evan Reichert (Oswego, Ill.) (floor and vault), Cramer (pommel horse) and Devon Felsenstein (Blue Bell, Pa.) (pommel horse), Rousseau (rings & parallel bars), Will Wilson (Montgomery, Ala.) (rings), Michael Dalton (Downers Grove, Ill.) (vault) and Carney (high bar).

Reichert registered a fourth place finish on the floor with a 13.400 and a fifth place finish on the vault with a 13.850, Felsenstein went on to place eighth on the pommel horse with a 13.300 and Wilson took seventh on the rings with a 13.150. Dalton notched a score of 13.750 for eighth on the vault, while Rousseau rounded out the highlights with a tenth place finish on the high bar with a 12.650.

The aforementioned student-athletes will compete in tomorrow's individual event finals on the campus of Air Force to wrap up the championships.
