Indianapolis, Ind. – April 7, 2026 – For the fourth time in five seasons, the Springfield College men's gymnastics team has qualified for the upcoming NCAA National Collegiate Men's Gymnastics Championships. The national meet will be held in the State Farm Center on the campus of the University of Illinois on Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18.
The qualification for the NCAA National Collegiate Championship comes after the Pride finished fifth at last weekend's Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship. Springfield College joins Greenville University as the only two Division III programs to qualify for multiple NCAA National Collegiate Men's Gymnastics Championships as a team.
The Pride will compete in the opening session at Illinois on Friday, April 19 at 2:00 pm CST/1:00 pm CST against Oklahoma, Ohio State, Nebraska, Greenville and California. This season, the Pride produced the 12th-highest national qualifying score in the country, a 308.500. Springfield will be one of four programs from the ECAC represented at the meeting joining Greenville, Navy and Army.
Three teams and the top three all-around competitors not on one of the qualifying teams, plus the top three individuals on each event not already qualified on a team or as an all-around competitor, will advance from each pre-qualifying session to the finals session. Finals competition will take place April 18.
Springfield is guided by
Peyton Cramer (Grapevine, Texas) as he is recently coming off claiming the USAG National Championship on the pommel horse becoming the first individual national champion for the Pride since 2023. Him and five others combined for eight All-America accolades at USAG's. Meanwhile,
Blaise Rousseau (Brecksville, Ohio) earned the ECAC Conference Championship title on the still rings last weekend and was joined by four others who earned All-Conference honors this season.
