Springfield, Mass. – June 9, 2026 – After winning the 2026 NCAA Division III Men's Volleyball National Championship title, Springfield College senior
Dylan Mulvaney (Reston, Va.) was named as the FrogJump Division III National Setter of the Year for the second consecutive season. In its fourth year of existence, this annual award is selected by a committee of FrogJump staff.
FrogJump was launched in 2020 and has quickly become the industry leader in DIII Men's Volleyball Coverage. FrogJump presents many DIII Men's Volleyball awards, including the annual DIII Preseason All-American Team, the DIII Men's Volleyball Team of the Week award, and the Positions of the Year Award series.
Mulvaney, a four-time American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division III All-American for Springfield College, became the fourth student-athlete in program history to eclipse 3,000 career assists and ends a historic career as one of the best setters to ever compete on Alden Street. In 348 career sets, Mulvaney produced 3,446 assists, 139 kills, hit at a .426 clip and recorded 214 blocks. This season, he guided the nation's top offensive unit setting new career highs in assists, hitting percentage and blocks.
Mulvaney and the Pride claimed the 2026 NCAA Division III Men's Volleyball National Championship title following a 3-0 win over Carthage College in Blake Arena on April 25. Springfield has now won 12 national championships under head coach
Charlie Sullivan and will join a competitive landscape next spring in the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) alongside NYU, Vassar, New Paltz, Wheaton, MIT and Emerson.
