Dylan Mulvaney (Reston, Va.) and men's gymnastics junior
Peyton Cramer (Grapevine, Texas) have earned spots on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-America Teams this year for their hard work in the classroom and in their sports during the 2025-26 academic year.
Mulvaney earned his second straight Academic All-America selection joining Jarrett Anderson as the only men's volleyball student-athletes in Springfield history to be recognized more than once, while Cramer is the fourth student-athlete in men's gymnastics history to earn Academic All-America status joining Jon Zirna (2015 & 2016), Keith LaChance (1993) and Jannik Haas (2019). This year, Cramer earned a spot on the CSC Academic All-America First Team, while Mulvaney was placed on the Second Team.
Cramer, a criminal justice major with a 3.97 grade point average, earned NCAA All-America honors for the second time in his career following a fourth place finish on the pommel horse after posting a 13.966 at the National Collegiate Championships. Cramer is the only the fourth student-athlete in program history to earn multiple All-America accolades at the NCAA Championships for the Pride. Cramer capped off an incredible season as he earned ECAC All-Conference honors and won the USAG National Title on the pommel horse.
Mulvaney, an exercise science major with a 3.75 grade point average, an AVCA First Team All-American, the FrogJump National Setter of the Year and Most Outstanding Player of the 2026 NCAA Division III Men's Volleyball National Championship Tournament, became the fourth student-athlete in program history to eclipse 3,000 career assists and ends a historic career as one of the best setters to ever compete on Alden Street. In 348 career sets, Mulvaney produced 3,446 assists, 139 kills, hit at a .426 clip and recorded 214 blocks. This season, he guided the nation's top offensive unit setting new career highs in assists, hitting percentage and blocks.
