Springfield, Mass. – September 26, 2026 – Springfield College senior Jodi Saelua (Miliani, Hawaii) has been named the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Women's Volleyball Offensive Athlete of the Week for the fourth week of the 2026 season.
 
In a 2-0 week against NEWMAC opponents, Saelua totaled 28 kills with a .379 hitting percentage across nine sets which included a 19-kill showing in a 3-1 win at WPI. The middle blocker currently leads the conference in hitting percentage and also totaled nine blocks on the week. This is Saelua's second NEWMAC Offensive Athlete of the Week honor this season.
 
Springfield (10-2, 2-0 NEWMAC) continues conference play with two home games against Smith on Tuesday at 7:00 pm and against Emerson on Saturday at 12:00 pm.
