Chris Vayda of the men's cross country team has been chosen as a Springfield College Maroon Club Student-Athlete of the Week.

Vayda the Pride at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational as he was the second fastest Division III student-athlete in a field of 303 student-athletes from across all three Divisions. Vayda crossed the finish line in 13th place overall in a time of 25:08.32, in his first 8-kilometer race of the season.
