Hartford, Conn. — September 14, 2011 — The Springfield College women’s tennis team was beaten by the University of Hartford, 4-3, this afternoon at the Hartford courts.

After Springfield took the doubles point by winning two out of three, sophomore Jen Cleary and junior Vanessa Senecal were the winners in singles competition for the Pride.

SC is now 0-2 this season.
