Springfield would respond in the seventh with an RBI bunt single from King. Dan Bergami (Schenectady, N.Y.) reached on an error, and Shane O'Leary (Kings Park, N.Y.) worked a walk to put Bergami on second.  King laid down the bunt which moved Bergami to third, and eventually home on an overthrow on the play.
