Babson Park, Mass. - April 24, 2021 - The Springfield College men's tennis team was defeated by Babson, 9-0, in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) action on Saturday afternoon. 

After Babson picked up a pair of wins in doubles play by the scores of 8-0, Fabian Jensen (Stavanger, Norway) highlighted Springfield's efforts in singles as he nearly picked up a win at the No. 1 spot before falling 6-1, 2-6, 10-4.  At the No. 2 position, Greg Baker (Princeton, N.J.) was edged by a 6-3, 6-1 margin, while Lucas Van Deventer (Ellington, Conn.) was clipped 6-1, 6-3 at No. 5.

The Pride will wrap up its season on Sunday when it hosts Wheaton at 11 am.
