The Pride led 8-7 in the third on a kill from Brandow before a 7-3 burst capped off by an ace for the visitors into a timeout trailing 14-11. From there, Lasell would pull away for the 25-19 win to take a 2-1 lead in the match. A kill from Brandow gave the Pride a 14-13 edge in the fourth, only to have Lasell close out the stanza on a 12-3 run to complete the upset win with a 25-17 fourth-set triumph.
