Beverly, Mass. - March 27, 2022 - Competing for the second time this weekend, the Springfield College men's tennis team was clipped by Endicott, 8-1, on Sunday.
Zachary Taub (New Windsor, N.Y.) and Mike Kendrick (Watervliet, N.Y.) prevailed by an 8-4 score at No. 2, while Waseem Sablon (Stoughton, Mass.) and Fabian Jensen (Stavanger, Norway) were edged 8-6 at the top spot.
The Pride had a strong showing in singles play, with Sablon dropping a 1-6, 6-1, 10-3 decision at No. 1 and James Foley (Fair Haven, N.J.) slipping 3-6, 6-2, 10-8 at No. 6.
On Wednesday, Springfield will travel to Trinity for another non-conference match.
