Women's Tennis Completes Fall Season Against Conn College

Box Score Springfield, Mass. – October 12, 2024 – The Springfield College women's tennis team competed against Connecticut College in an extended dual this morning on the Appleton Tennis Courts to round out the fall season.

No team score was kept, but the Camels earned wins in all but one position in today's contest.

Grace Tyler (Longmeadow, Mass.) came from behind to earn a 0-6, 6-4, 10-8 win over Tara Best. Gabby Heaney-Secord (Westwood, Mass.) played a tight singles match with Caitlin Cass, but ultimately fell, 6-1, 7-6 at the top of the ladder.

In doubles play, Heaney-Secord and Alysa Elliott (Gros-Islet, Saint Lucia) were edged by Sana Bhat and Marylove Reynolds, 7-6 (9-7).
