Peter Avdoulos '85 unveiled the 2025-2026 schedule with the opener set for November 1 against MIT at the Art Linkletter Natatorium.
MEN'S SCHEDULE
WOMEN'S SCHEDULE
A season ago, the men's squad finished third at the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championships which was the best team finish in 12 years for the Pride.
Christian Butler (North Haven, Conn.) was named the NEWMAC Diver of the Year and appeared at the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving National Championships in both the 1-meter and 3-meter dive, while Avdoulos was also named the NEWMAC Men's Diving Coach of the Year for the 19th time in his career.
On the women's side, the team finished fourth at the NEWMAC Championships and sent
Nina Lamb (Killingworth, Conn.) to the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving National Championships. Lamb qualified in the 100-breast and 200-breast, and was named an All-American after finishing seventh in the 100-breast. Four of the women's divers also qualified and competed at the NCAA Division III Northeast-North Diving Regional.
Springfield will host back-to-back home meets beginning with MIT on November 1 and then will host Coast Guard and Wheaton (Mass.) for a tri-meet on November 8. The MIT women won the program's first NCAA Division III National Championship title a season ago. The Pride will then be traveling away from home for three-straight meets. They will compete in another tri-meet at Williams with Wesleyan on the 15th before competing in the Gompei Invitational hosted by WPI from December 5-7 for the only meet of December
The Pride will open the new year up at Hartwick with Union on January 10th. They then will host Middlebury on the 17th before heading to Amherst on January 23rd. The next day, the women's team will head to Smith to compete in a tri-meet with Wellesley on the 24th.
Springfield will close out the regular season with a home meet against Babson on February 7 to prepare for the NEWMAC Championships starting on February 19th.
The NEWMAC Championships will be hosted by MIT and will begin on Thursday, February 19 with champion will be crowned on Sunday, February 22.
